NERVOUSLY EXCITED 🤘 This was me before kids, carefree and untouched by both the Joy's of children and the grief of losing a child. This is me in 2015 with @officiallzzyhale @halestormrocks. Their music has become a prominent part of my life. Its helped me through some difficult times recently with "vicious", I often communicate to Fabian how I feel and quote lyrics to "let me in your room", we played "here's to us" at our wedding. But perhaps one of the most poignant songs is "Dear daughter". When I knew Silver was very ill when I was pregnant I created a playlist and often played this song to her. When she passed away and we got to spend five extra days with her in a special room on the NICU I played her this song as I held her and sang along. We also played this at her funeral, the last song we played her as people left the room and we spend our last moments with her. 🤘 I am so excited to finally be going to a gig after having three back to back pregnancies, I'm nervous at leaving our rainbow Leilani for the first time with my expressed milk and tbh I'm nervous of how I'm going to respond if they play this song. I'm really hoping tonight I can feel a bit more like the old Holly again and find a little happiness within my realities and finally do something for me! 🤘 @arejayhale @jodowa @thejoestorm
RG @silver.lining.store THOUGHTFUL 🎄 What an incredibly thoughtful gift. My parents went to London recently and this was the only thing they bought. We now have a beautiful ornament which includes our #angelbaby. It truly means so much to loss parents when they feel you have remembered their baby/ child. It is an incredibly difficult time of year and it is these sorts of gestures that can make this season a little easier for those people. Some other suggestions are writing a card to their baby, or including their childs name in the family christmas card, a gift you know will remind them of their child or just asking how they are and of they'd like to talk about their child. 🎄 I honestly think our badges are a perfect way to let parents know we have remembered their child and acknowledge them as parents despite perhaps no living children. I promise you aren't hallucinating, I really have decorated for Christmas. The earliest we have ever done! I am so glad we had not done this last weekend considering Silvers entire gravel area was several inches under water and our house nearly flooded! Pretty sure even the dri-box wouldn't have withstood that amount and depth of water and I dread to think the risks with that. I love the fact that with Silver not bring here, able to enjoy the tree in our home or the joy of opening presents that she does in fact have her own tree and presents 🎄 we tied the tree to the fence this year so it wouldn't keep blowing over like last year and I'm loving it, makes my heart a little lighter as I miss her so much, as always 💜
